Ein Sof — Without End — the infinite ground of reality from which all emanation flows. Identical in function to Śūnyatā or rigpa. The Zohar says: "Before He created any form in the world, He was alone, without form and without resemblance to anything." Formless awareness. Sound familiar?

The five souls: Nefesh (vital), Ruach (spirit), Neshamah (breath/higher soul), Chayah (living essence), Yechidah (unity). These map remarkably onto the five sheaths (pañca kośa) of Vedānta and the five prāṇas.
